Natural thin stone flats and corners
Natural thin stone is produced at the stone quarry by sawing the face and/or the corners off of full thickness building stone to produce stone that is 1”- 1 ½” thick and is approximately the same weight as man-made thin stone made of cement. When installed, natural thin stone is indistinguishable from full thickness stone, and it requires no footing. Natural thin stone is typically used when weight or space are determining factors. Most often used for interior walls and fireplaces, it is also used for many other applications including remodeling applications where the thickness of the stone is an issue. It is priced competitively with man-made stone, so why not buy the real thing?
